Dating Tips - Is it Possible to Fall in Love on the First Date?

Everybody will agree that love is always in the air even if it is not Valentines Day. It is not bounded with time and occasion. As long as a person recognizes the need to love and be loved, this intense emotion is always available. Anyway, this so called Love Day on February 14 makes people who do not have a date more miserable and insecure. Much more that society or maybe businesses demand that you need to have a date on this day.
People understand that nobody needs to get bounded by dating on any special day. They can have dating activities anytime they want. But still the same these "love" freaks face the usual challenge: how to get a good date with a person who they find interesting. At least this will satisfy their egos and social need to communicate. Unless a person wants to deliberately become anti-social, then it will explain that he does not want to get involved in a relationship and dating is not his type.
When it comes to online dating, it is virtually impossible to immediately fall in love with someone you meet for the first time. Maybe to get extremely attracted or get completely excited with the person is possible. Most often than not the second time you get to spend with the person again you slowly recognize their flaws. You start to get turned off.
The concept of falling in love is within the context of overlooking the gross personality, untimely character, and unexpected behaviour of a person. First time dates will not give both parties ample time to discover and know the other side of the person. The initial tendency of first time daters is to put the best foot forward and try to like each other.
Normally:
The first stage of romantic relationships is excitement.
The second stage is boredom or irritation.
The third stage is adjustment.
And the last stage is total acceptance.
If parties can overcome the initial stages, only then can it be proven that they are truly in love with each other and nothing can go between them. Love needs challenges to prove that it is true. A short time being together is unlikely to substantiate the emotion.
In any way, no one can discount as well that couples who dated for the first time cannot potentially end up having a serious relationship. Anything can happen. But as mentioned it can only take place after some time. Some may claim that they were totally blown away by this particular person the first time he or she saw him or her, but it will qualify as merely infatuation or utter attraction and definitely not love.
Love does take time and must be proven by time.
The statement "Love at first date" may disappoint those who have been looking desperately for the love of their life. In reality it does not happen. If it does happen, just for the sake of doubt, then the idea of having a good love story will not be as interesting as it will be when both lovers get to overcome obstacles of their own. Their journey to establish a good relationship will definitely be a good story to tell.
